This role handles a wide range of administrative and HR-related tasks, ensuring smooth communication and effective support for employees and management. The HR Coordinator is instrumental in executing HR initiatives, maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, assisting in recruitment efforts, and supporting compliance with labor regulations.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR inquiries, policies, and procedures. Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, interview scheduling, reference checks and background checks. Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and prepare onboarding materials. Work with other Department Heads for recruitment and retention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files. Support training and development initiatives. Assist in the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities and events. Prepare HR reports such as headcount, turnover, and compliance data. Help ensure legal compliance with labor and employment laws. Participate in audits and assist with HR projects as needed. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:   Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills, time-management skills, and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Education and Experience: High school diploma required. At least one year of human resource experience preferred. SHRM-CP a plus. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom) is a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
