What you bring to the table

Beck is looking for a talented Human Resources Intern to join an extraordinary brand new HR team in our corporate headquarters located in Downtown Dallas. While this is an individual role, you will be involved in many facets of HR with the ability to evolve and impact our existing operations. As the HR Intern, your primary function is to assist the Human Resources team with recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compensation and training functions while building relationships and acting as an HR initial point of contact for Beck employees.

The job involves the following responsibilities:

  • Support multiple projects within HR team, offering the best service to our internal clients
  • Post open positions on Beck website and associated targeted job boards
  • Support hiring managers and their teams coordinating and scheduling interviews
  • Assist campus recruiting and Summer Internship Program

A person with a great attitude, willing to learn and be mentored by a talented Human Resources team. Someone who possess a general understanding of HR functions, a passion to get things done, great communication skills and uncompromising authenticity and integrity. 

You also meet the following requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related degree
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated team player
  • Effective verbal and written communicator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must maintain confidentiality with employee information

Essential Functions:

Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment; frequently lift and move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and move up to fifty pounds; constantly communicates with HR team, Beck employees, and external vendors; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
