We are currently searching for the right candidate to fill our HR Coordinator role in Dallas. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday. Bilingual in English / Spanish required. 

 OVERVIEW:


The Human Resource Coordinator thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing manufacturing and/or distribution environment. The coordinator assists with many administrative tasks necessary for recruitment, onboarding, training, customer compliance audits, and providing support to associates and management. The person in this role uses their English / Spanish bilingual skills as appropriate to assist current staff as required and potential candidates. 


All Live Comfortably Associates are expected to support Operations by working efficiently and maintaining a high level of productivity for the organization to meet and exceed customer demands.


This position places a strong significance on effective and clear communication, emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills, sound judgment, confidentiality, initiative, safety orientation, reliability, and a strong work ethic. In order to be successful in this role, the ability to respond to employee concerns with empathy, adapt communication styles to diverse audiences, manage challenging situations with professionalism, and foster trust with associates and management is necessary.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. 
  • Assist with the recruitment and sourcing of candidates to include the coordination of onsite interviews, assisting with job fairs, and onsite walk-in candidates.
  • Assist with and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • Work with staffing agencies as needed to coordinate temp labor, manage in HRIS system, ensure hours accuracy. 
  • Assist with Social Compliance and other customer audits as needed. 
  • Assist HR Manager, management, leadership and associates when needed while understanding and following escalation protocols.
  • Review time and attendance and ensure daily compliance with schedule as well as updating system following Timecard Correction policy.
  • Assist in attendance and point tracking administration. 
  • Understands and promotes compliance of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Administrative duties to include filing, record keeping, completing paperwork, etc. 
  • Understands Position Qualification Standards (PQS) training to discuss with new hires and assist with tracking as necessary.
  • Promotes, and enforces compliance of company policies/rules/procedures.
  • Support & promotes good housekeeping practices.
  • Support and promote Safety programs and initiatives. 
  • Human Resources Back-up if applicable
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned. 


 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for all manufacturing and distribution facilities. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in Human Resource administration required.
  • Prior payroll/HRIS/ATS systems experience. 
  • Very good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.

Associates in this role may spend over 90% of the day in a stationary position while using a computer or other devices. Good manual dexterity is required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, copiers, scanners). There is also an occasional need to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks as well as the ability to move about the office and common office areas. 


There is also an occasional need to bend, stoop, and lift (typically less than 10 lbs.). as well as frequently touch and feel. The ability to hear and see with vision abilities in close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus is necessary. 


 

 

WORK ENVIROMENT:

Associates in this role spend much of the day in a climate-controlled office environment with a low to moderate noise level. 


When in the production / warehouse areas, the Associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however there may be areas designated as Hearing Protection required and provided earplugs are mandatory in those areas. 


There may be areas of the plant and warehouse areas where exposure to heat and/or cold can occur. The Associate may be exposed to dust and floating particles used in the manufacturing, storage and inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
