As a Laboratory Operations Supervisor in an IDEXX laboratory, you will supervise a team of Laboratory Technicians who analyze samples and help veterinarians diagnose and treat pets. What you’ll be doing as a Laboratory Operations Supervisor:Â

You problem-solve, from troubleshooting diagnostic analyzers to resolving situational workflow and turnaround time challenges   Â

What you’ll need to succeed:Â
You must be able to work nights and have had experience in the past working during 3rd Shift hours
You must have extensive leadership experience
You must have Veterinary Clinical Pathology experience
You’ve directly supervised 10+ employees in a fast-paced and / or high-volume work environmentÂ
You have directly supervised 10+ employees in a fast-paced and / or high-volume work environmentÂ
You have 1+ years of recent supervisory experienceÂ
You have knowledge of veterinary or human clinical testing proceduresÂ
You enjoy a fast-paced, high-volume, innovative work environmentÂ
You are passionate about people leadershipÂ
You are excited about the opportunity to use your skills and abilities to promote the health and well-being of animalsÂ
You are able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab – standing and sitting for extended periods of time, phone & computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, and specific vision ability – close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusÂ
This is a laboratory, so there is potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals Â

Schedule:Â Â
This is a full time (40 hour/week), night-shift position
The schedule for this position is: Tuesday - Friday
The hours for this position will have an 11pm start time
You can choose to work 4 / 10hr shifts or 5 / 8hr shifts
There will be a rotating Saturday shift (every 3rd or 4th Saturday-if you are working a Saturday then you will be off a night through the week)
The shifts and hours may vary depending on business needsÂ
Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the positionÂ
Adherence to attendance-related policies and expectations is critical to this positionÂ
