Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare. The primary function of this role is to provide direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use disorder and/or mental health treatment.

Location: 100 Upper Demunds Rd, Dallas, PA 18612

Shift: 11:00am - 11:00pm

Pay: $30 - $34/hr

Shift Differential Information:
1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm (Saturday and Sunday $1.50)
2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday $1.00, Saturday and Sunday $2.00)
3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am (Monday - Friday $2.00, Saturday and Sunday $3.00)

Responsibilities:

Maintain a 1:10 ratio for detox clients.
Complete initial Nursing Assessments with new admissions, as applicable.
Administer medications to clients.
Apply knowledge and delivery of detox protocols.
Perform COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol.
Provide medication education to clients.
Coordinate and support Medical providers with assessments and medication management appointments.
Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania.
Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP, RTFA).
