Richman Signature Properties is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our Maintenance Team!  

Position: Maintenance Technician  1

Location: Parc At White Rock, Dallas, our 291-unit luxury residential community located in Dallas, TX 75238 (near Kindred Hospital and Santa Fe Trail area)

Shift: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, with a 30 or 60 minute unpaid lunch break daily, on-call/weekend rotation required

 What we are looking for in our best Candidates:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Maintenance Operations experience in a similar residential multi-family environment
  • Position requires an EPA I & II, which is a high preference for the position.  However if  you have the right skills, experience, and passion for the industry, RPS may consider sponsoring (and paying) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days of Employment
  • Valid/Active Driver's license (verified during hiring process)
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred, not required
  • Passion for curb-appeal, customer/resident services, working in a team environment to meet and exceed goals, we want to interview with you!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Requirements:

  • Education:
    1. High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
    • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
    • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Skills & Certifications:
    • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
    • Valid Driver's License required
    • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
