The mechanical superintendent position at Power Design is a critical leadership role responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality, safety and customer loyalty. position details/responsibilities…

Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service.
Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule.
Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.

here’s what we’re looking for…

OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Experience with refrigeration HVAC systems, VRF/VRV systems.
Progressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path
Skilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
Active journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred
Proficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
Knowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.
Familiarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred
Flexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred
Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth
