Classic & Custom Restorations (CCR) is a premier classic automobile restoration company located in Dallas, GA, specializing in frame-off restorations of classic Ford Mustangs, trucks, and Broncos, as well as other manufacturers and models. We are looking for an organized, resourceful, and automotive-minded Parts Manager to take ownership of the parts process for our restoration projects.

Position Summary
The Parts Manager is responsible for making sure our technicians have the correct parts, materials, and supplies they need to keep projects moving efficiently.

This is not a typical dealership parts-counter position. Restoration work often requires researching obsolete components, comparing reproduction parts, tracking down hard-to-find original pieces, coordinating with specialty vendors, and making sure every order is assigned to the correct vehicle and project.

The right person will be highly organized, comfortable researching automotive parts, persistent when solving sourcing problems, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.

Responsibilities
路聽 聽 聽 Research, source, quote, and order parts for classic vehicle restoration and custom-build projects
路聽 聽 聽 Identify correct parts using vehicle information, measurements, photographs, catalogs, vendor resources, and technician input
路聽 聽 聽 Source OEM, reproduction, aftermarket, used, rebuilt, and specialty components as appropriate
路聽 聽 聽 Develop and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and specialty vendors
路聽 聽 聽 Compare vendors based on price, availability, quality, shipping time, and suitability for the build
路聽 聽 聽 Create and manage purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records
路聽 聽 聽 Track outstanding orders, backorders, shipping status, and expected delivery dates
路聽 聽 聽 Receive incoming parts and verify orders for accuracy, quantity, condition, and quality
路聽 聽 聽 Address incorrect, damaged, missing, or defective parts and coordinate returns or replacements
路聽 聽 聽 Label, organize, and stage parts by vehicle/project
路聽 聽 聽 Keep technicians and management informed about parts availability and potential delays
路聽 聽 聽 Anticipate upcoming parts needs based on project schedules and shop workflow
路聽 聽 聽 Help prevent project delays caused by missing or incorrectly ordered parts
路聽 聽 聽 Maintain accurate records of parts costs associated with each customer project
路聽 聽 聽 Assist with inventory control for commonly used shop supplies and materials
路聽 聽 聽 Coordinate returns, credits, warranties, cores, and exchanges
路聽 聽 聽 Help identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and control parts costs
What We're Looking For
路聽 聽 聽 Strong automotive knowledge and ability to identify and research vehicle components
路聽 聽 聽 Experience in automotive parts, restoration, repair, collision, performance, dealership, or a related automotive environment
路聽 聽 聽 Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
路聽 聽 聽 Strong computer and internet research skills
路聽 聽 聽 Comfortable communicating with vendors by phone and email
路聽 聽 聽 Ability to manage a large number of open orders and details without losing track of them
路聽 聽 聽 Ability to prioritize urgent needs while continuing to manage long-term restoration projects
路聽 聽 聽 Strong attention to detail鈥攐rdering the wrong part can cost both time and money
路聽 聽 聽 Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, management, vendors, and other team members
路聽 聽 聽 Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of problems through resolution

Preferred Experience
Experience with classic cars and trucks is highly desirable. Familiarity with Ford vehicles, first-generation Mustangs, classic trucks, restoration parts suppliers, aftermarket performance components, and restomod builds is a plus.

Previous experience as an automotive Parts Manager, Parts Specialist, Service Advisor, Restoration Project Coordinator, or similar position required.聽
