Ambulatory Anesthesia Carehas helped create a safe, effective, and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that has been replicated throughout the country.  We are proud to be setting up our office-based anesthesia roots in the Dallas, TX.  We are looking for skilled and talented pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join our office-based anesthesia practice to service our office-based anesthesia facilities in Dallas, 3 days/week.

If you enjoy working alongside an anesthesia and surgical team and setting the example in delivering safe and quality patient care – this position is for you!  All nursing care is conveniently provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday - with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays!

Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are highly encouraged to apply.

The Perianesthesia nurse will be responsible for the pre-operative assessment and care of the patient, including intra-operative care and post-operative/recovery care.  Additional responsibilities include maintaining the pharmacy and supplies, safely handling all equipment, and participating in quality performance improvement activities.  From time to time, we may have you assist with completing pre-operative patient assessments via our secure patient portal.

Position Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TX
  • A minimum of 3 years or ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
  • BLS and ACLS certification is required, PALS certificate is preferred
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations

What is office-based anesthesia?  At AAC, our mission is to provide a comprehensive, peri-operative solution to surgeons and dentists, allowing them to perform procedures safely in the comfort of their office.  Our clinical model provides the surgeon or dentist with an anesthesia provider, perianesthesia RN, and all of the anesthesia-related medications, supplies, and equipment directly to the client on the day of their scheduled procedures.
