PHARMACIST IN CHARGE, BILINGUAL (SPANISH)

Lead a Team. Practice at the Top of Your License. Serve a Community That Needs You.

This isn't a stand-behind-the-counter pharmacist role. RenewRx is looking for a Pharmacist in Charge who wants to lead a team, practice ambulatory care alongside an affiliated medical clinic, and be the trusted, bilingual face of pharmacy care for a community that genuinely needs it.

You'll split your time between running a busy retail pharmacy and working directly with clinic providers on real clinical decisions: medication therapy management, dosing recommendations, and therapy adjustments. If you've ever felt like your PharmD is capable of more than counting pills and processing claims, this is that role.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • A true hybrid role: roughly 60% retail pharmacy operations and 40% ambulatory care, working almost as an extension of an affiliated clinic's care team.
  • Real, measurable impact: helping patients manage chronic conditions and stay out of the hospital, not just filling prescriptions.
  • No late nights and limited weekends: one rotating Saturday shift roughly once or twice a month, with a weekday off in exchange.
  • Room to build: this pharmacy is currently processing more prescriptions than it's filling, which means real opportunity to grow the business and your role in it.
  • A close-knit team and direct access to ownership and pharmacy leadership, not a distant corporate chain.
  • Performance-based quarterly bonus potential tied to the clinical outcomes you help deliver.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations: workflow, purchasing, insurance, inventory, and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of 3 to 4 pharmacy technicians.
  • Provide medication counseling and patient care in both English and Spanish.
  • Partner directly with an affiliated medical clinic's providers on ambulatory care services, including medication therapy management, dosing recommendations, and therapy adjustments.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including accurate recordkeeping for controlled substances.
  • Help grow the pharmacy's reputation and presence in the community it serves.

Who You Are

  • Active Texas pharmacist license, or eligible for licensure by reciprocity from another state.
  • Retail pharmacy experience is preferred, ideally with some leadership or team management experience, but we're open to the right candidate who's ready to grow into it.
  • Comfortable communicating with patients in Spanish. Conversational fluency works; native or professional-level fluency is a plus.
  • Genuine interest in clinical, ambulatory care work, not just dispensing. Prior experience with medication therapy management is a plus, not a requirement.
  • A natural leader who can motivate a team and hold them accountable, while also staying hands-on with patients.
  • This practice model continues to evolve, and we're looking for someone who grows with it.
  • Willing to work in South Dallas and be invested in serving that community.

Location & Schedule

  • South Dallas, TX (Hampton area).
  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, plus a rotating Saturday shift (8:00 AM to 2:00 PM) roughly once or twice a month, with a weekday off in exchange.
  • Salaried, typically averaging 39 to 42 hours per week.
