Product Support Specialist - Remote

Copart is seeking a Product UAT Specialist for our office located in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Product Manager (Operations), the Product Support Specialist will be responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance for new enterprise system releases. This role involves evaluating system releases for process flow and usability, representing business interests in Technology department meetings, and tracking the creation, evaluation, resolution, and re-testing of bugs and issues.  

The specialist will provide feedback and reports to Operations leadership, acting as the final validation for internal product releases. The successful candidate will become knowledgeable about Copart's operational policies and procedures and will complete testing and product evaluations from the perspective of a field operations employee. Additionally, the role includes collaborating on the creation of training content, communicating new releases and updates, and providing direct support for product releases, system rollouts, pilots, best practices, routine inquiries, and process improvements. 

NOTE: This is not a developer role. All testing is manual and comprehensive to validate products as they will truly be used by operational employees in the field, alongside detailed change management and field training. 

This position will assist in duties including, but not limited to, the following: 

• Perform UAT and quality control testing for the enterprise system at various stages of the production process to ensure products comply with company operational policies and procedures 
• Troubleshoot quality-related issues as they arise during the testing phase and after product release by working directly with teams to review problems, replicate them, and troubleshoot for resolution 
• Use test management software and other project management tools to evaluate and track bugs and issues, as well as record test data and results 
• Work closely with Technology to ensure any new process or technical change is tested and articulated to the field 
• Represent the business in meetings with various departments and internal customers, particularly the Technology department, Field Operations, Sales team and other department stakeholders 
• Leverage operational experience to evaluate system changes and improvements 
• Will work on multiple projects ensuring all timelines and requirements are met 
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Knowledge of the full operational process
• Knowledge of the Auction process
• Must have 1+ year experience in a related role 
• Ability to work effectively with multiple lines of business and technical teams 
• Must be comfortable adapting to change 
• Flexibility regarding changes in project requirements and shifting priorities 
• Work independently with minimal guidance & supervision 
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Outlook and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel 
• Ability to travel up to 25% per year 
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong multitasking and time-management skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills 
• College education preferred
