Shift Hours: 11:00am - 7:30pm

Position Summary

The QC Office Clerk supports the Quality Control team by managing documentation, data entry, and reporting in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate quality records and supporting food safety compliance, including HACCP documentation.
 
 The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and comfortable working extensively in Excel and standard office systems, with the ability to navigate shared network drives and manage digital files efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, track, and maintain QC data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems
  • Review and verify HACCP records and other food safety documentation for accuracy and completeness (training provided)
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for QC records
  • Manage documents within shared network drives and/or SharePoint environments
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports
  • Assist with audit preparation by retrieving and organizing required documentation
  • Enter and maintain data in systems such as AS400 and Business Central (training provided)
  • Use Outlook to communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Identify, flag, and help resolve data discrepancies
  • Provide general administrative support to the QC team

Qualifications – Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, data organization)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general Office tools
  • Comfortable working in a Windows-based environment (shared drives, file management)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications – Preferred

  • Experience in food manufacturing or quality control
  • Familiarity with HACCP documentation
  • Experience with AS400 and/or Business Central
  • Previous administrative or data entry experience

Training

On-the-job training (OJT) provided, including HACCP processes and internal systems.

Work Environment

Food manufacturing facility; primarily office-based with some interaction with production areas.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods; occasional walking within the facility.

Important Note

This role requires strong hands-on computer skills in a professional environment. Candidates should be comfortable using Excel, Outlook, and managing files with a keyboard and mouse.
