This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the efficient recovery of donated goods, maintaining the quality and organization of inventory, and contributing to the overall success of the charitable operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the recovery process of donated goods, ensuring items are sorted, processed, and prepared for sale in a timely manner. - Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including the sorting area and storage facilities, to ensure safety and efficiency. - Collaborate with team members to optimize recovery operations and improve processes for better inventory management. - Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting discrepancies to ensure accurate stock management. - Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers, addressing inquiries and facilitating smooth donation transactions. - Support the organization's goals by actively participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for process improvements. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations and mission of GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF DALLAS INC. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: - Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred. - Experience working in a not-for-profit or charitable organization is advantageous.
