What you will be doing: - Directly participate in sales efforts to close orders.
- Coordinate fluid power sales and systems with various branches and regional managers.
- Identify target accounts and prospects.
- Work with the marketing team to produce marketing materials and events promoting fluid power.
- Provide marketing suggestions for social media posts and other digital content.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and manufacturer-provided software.
- Provide advanced-level technical application support via phone, video conference, or in person.
- Stay current on new products and technologies and educate customers and Purvis team members about these new developments.
- Determine final disposition of warranty claims and work with suppliers to resolve difficult cases.
- Produce and present technical training for customers and Purvis team members about hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Experience you will need: - Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power, engineering principles, and creative problem-solving.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Proficiencies: Microsoft Office, Teams.
- Good driving record.
- Prefer a B.S. in Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power experience.
