Position Overview
The Regional Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs across a defined geographic region to support employee performance, operational consistency, and business goals. This role reports to Regional HR Leadership and has a functional reporting relationship to the OD&T Team. The role partners with HR Staff, Regional leaders, cross-functional teams, and the OD&T Team to identify training needs, support the design and development of training content and learning solutions, implement learning initiatives, and ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to succeed. The ideal candidate is an engaging facilitator, strong communicator, and organized project manager who can adapt training initiatives to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Responsibilities

- Develop, coordinate, and deliver regional training programs for new hires and existing employees.
- Assess training needs in partnership with regional leadership, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions across multiple locations.
- Create, update, and maintain training materials, job aids, presentations, and learning resources.
- Monitor training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, participation metrics, and performance outcomes.
- Ensure training content aligns with company policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
- Support onboarding initiatives and role-specific development programs within the region.
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate business processes into practical learning content.
- Work with OD&T Team to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions across UES.
- Track training completion, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for leadership.
- Recommend improvements to training strategies, delivery methods, and learning tools based on regional needs and feedback.
- Serve as a training resource and point of contact for managers and employees across the region.
- Travel within the assigned region to conduct training sessions, support rollouts, and provide field coaching as needed.

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Certification in training, instructional design, talent development, or facilitation.
- Experience developing e-learning content or blended learning programs.
- Familiarity with LMS reporting, training analytics, and performance metrics.
- Experience delivering training to adult learners in multiple formats, including in-person and virtual environments.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines across a regional territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience supporting regional or multi-site operations.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
Travel Requirements
This position requires occasional travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, to support business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.

- This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring flexibility to work effectively from both a professional office and work site setting.
- On-Site Office Requirements:
- Work is performed at a desk for extended periods using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment in a climate-controlled office environment.
- Regular in-person communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders is required.
- Physical demands may include sitting for long durations, occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 15 pounds
