Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of research and regulatory documents for Research Advisory Panel, Institutional Review Board, and other regulatory agencies

  • Identify eligible patients and obtain informed consent

  • Collect, validate, and enter data into research databases or spreadsheets

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of abstracts, journal manuscripts and other presentations as needed

  • Supervise summer students/interns and contribute to the training of Level I and new Level II Research Coordinators 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical research

  • CCRP certification

  • Must have proficient computer skills in a Windows environment; spreadsheet software knowledge a plus

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other health professionals as well as substantial interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients, their families, and the community.

  • Critical thinking skills and time management skills are required; must have the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
