Job DetailsJob Location: Dallas - TX 75216Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Health Care SUMMARY: Performs respiratory care services as needed in field, at clinics or at any PHM office in an efficient and timely manner as outlined in department policy. Represents PHM with professionalism at all times providing quality timely service to all patients. Remains regulatory compliant at all times. Shares in 24 hour on-call duty as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Represents PHM in a professional caring manner. Provides patient equipment setups of CPAP, APAP and Bi-Level, RAD, Ventilator, and other respiratory therapy equipment. Instructs patients on equipment use, maintenance, cleaning and safety per company standards. Fits patients with “best fit – patient choice” of interface and head gear. Works with patients as needed for interface refits or equipment/supply reinstructs. Performs schedule & unscheduled follows up with patients per company policy. Reinforces insurance coverage requirements & expectations as needed during set-up or follow up. Cleans and tests equipment as needed. Stays in touch with office during day to keep abreast of any schedule changes or additions. Responds promptly to voice mail, text messages or e-mails from office or administration. Provides in-services to referral sources as well as patient families as requested. Maintains quality service as defined by PHM policy & procedures. Remains knowledgeable of and responsible for current company policies and procedures as they relate to the above duties and regulatory compliance. Completes paperwork fully and accurately, turning in to PHM CSR per policy. Ability to drive safely to patient location. Performs any other specific duties/tasks as assigned by division manager. QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: RRT, CRTT, or other related healthcare credentials or experience. Experience will be evaluated by PHM management to determine fit for position. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good communication skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to work overtime as needed High level of reliability. Team player with good organizational skills. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: NBRC Credentials (CRTT or RRT) Current and active state Respiratory Care License Current Driver’s license for state living in. Copy of vehicle insurance card Current CPR card. AIDS training.
