About the Role

The Sales & Marketing Representative (SMR) builds and manages key relationships that generate consistent, referral-based revenue. This is a people-focused position requiring professionalism, consistency, and emotional intelligence. The SMR represents SERVPRO as the trusted partner for property managers, insurance professionals, and commercial clients.



What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts such as insurance agents, property managers, and commercial stakeholders.

  • Conduct consistent and purposeful contact activity (face-to-face visits, follow-ups, and check-ins).

  • Lead with education and empathy—provide insights that help clients understand SERVPRO’s value.

  • Identify and connect with the true referral influencers within each organization.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure ERPs (Emergency Ready Profiles) and client deliverables are completed effectively.

  • Document contact activity in CRM systems and communicate opportunities or client needs clearly to operations.

  • Represent SERVPRO professionally at community events, CE classes, and industry networking functions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in outside sales, business development, or client relationship management.
  • Experience in restoration, insurance, or construction industries.
  • Demonstrated success in generating referrals or repeat business through relationship-based engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor, emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt to different audiences.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured activity tracking.
  • Experience leading CE courses, Lunch-and-Learns, or industry events.



Travel

Local travel daily with occasional regional events or meetings.



Compensation

Competitive salary and commission structure based on experience and performance.
