Security Receptionist
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Security Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, contractors, and clients at a corporate facility in Dallas, TX.
This position combines front desk reception responsibilities with security-related administrative duties. The Security Receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing access procedures, maintaining visitor records, answering phones, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional and secure environment at all times.
The ideal candidate is polished, organized, technology-savvy, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reception & Visitor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors, guests, clients, and employees.
- Greet visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
- Issue visitor badges and maintain visitor logs.
- Verify visitor information and follow site access procedures.
- Provide directions and assistance to guests and employees as needed.
Administrative Support
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage shared email inboxes as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.
- Assist with data entry, filing, scheduling, and administrative projects.
- Support site leadership with routine administrative tasks.
- Maintain organization of reception and front desk areas.
Security Support
- Support access control and visitor management procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
- Report unusual activity, security concerns, or operational issues to management.
- Follow site policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company and visitor information.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors and employees.
- Respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Resolve routine issues independently while escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Represent the company positively through professional interactions and appearance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of receptionist, customer service, administrative, or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a corporate environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Technical Skills
Candidates should be proficient in:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams
- Windows Operating Systems
- Email and calendar management
- Data entry and recordkeeping systems
- Standard office equipment and technologies
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
- Ability to use computer systems and office equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
- Ability to assist visitors and move throughout the facility as needed.
