This role is crucial in supporting the organization's mission to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of donation attendants to ensure smooth and efficient processing of donations. - Provide guidance and training to donation attendants on best practices for handling and sorting donated items. - Maintain accurate records of donations and ensure proper documentation is completed for inventory purposes. - Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to increase donation volume and improve donor satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational standards in the donation area. - Address donor inquiries and concerns professionally, providing information about donation policies and procedures. - Collaborate with other departments to optimize the donation process and enhance overall operational efficiency. - Participate in community outreach activities to promote donation opportunities and foster positive relationships with donors. - Monitor and report on donation trends and provide recommendations for process improvements. - Support the organization's mission by actively engaging in activities that promote goodwill and community involvement. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or retail environment. - Proven track record of handling donations or inventory management. - Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with donors and team members. - Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks efficiently. - Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems. - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Physical ability to lift and move donations as required.
