Vaco Dallas is currently seeking a Senior NetWeaver Engineer for a direct hire hybrid remote opportunity. Vaco is looking for an exceptional candidate that is responsible for production and project support as well as the monitoring of a global single instance SAP environment. This person will give QA, technical guidance, and customer support while coordinating with off-shore NetWeaver team members. There would be Level 1 Production support supplied through an offshore team

JOB SUMMARY

• Install, administer, tune, aid, and monitor the SAP Environment while assisting the business and IT members
• Install, implement, configure, administrate, SAP NetWeaver/Basis software program modules
• Act as a leader for the projects for technical upgrades, approved architecture adjustments and other activities requiring NetWeaver knowledge and skills
• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server database and Microsoft Windows Server
• Provide technical NetWeaver assistance to SAP ECC, SRM, SCM, BW, XI, GRC, Portal, HANA, and Solution Manager systems
• Apply SAP application-specific system patches and upgrades, examples: SAP Kernel and Patch improvements
• Integrate SAP programs with Microsoft Windows OS
• Implement SAP Print setup and spool tracking
• Technical troubleshooting, analysis, and overall performance tuning with the use of SAP and OS tools
• Maintain SAP system availability to customers on 24x7 schedule & offer maintenance & system administrative support for SAP teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field required
• Administration of SAP Basis/NetWeaver on ABAP and JAVA platforms
• Technical troubleshooting, analysis and performance tuning skills using SAP and OS tools
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to act as a team member and work closely with others
• Ability to work occasionally after hours to support SAP functional teams and projects as SAP System is available 24/7
• Experience working as part of a global onshore and offshore team preferred
