Job DetailsJob Location: TX-Divisional HQ - Dallas, TX 75247Salary Range: $58,772.38Job Category: Service Unit/CenterDirects and supervises the financial operations and management of all service center locations and designated, staffed service units; assesses the operations of service extension locations to ensure strategic goals, social service goals and operations are in alignment with long-term goals; travels to recruit, train, and engage advisory board members, council members, employees, and volunteers; plans, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates all fund raising efforts and activities in each community in order to reach fund raising goals; provides strategic leadership to Family Store operations within the Service Extension program; supports the implementation of Service Extension Camp, Emergency Disasters Services and seasonal programing throughout the state; performs public speaking for community service groups and works to build effective working relationships with the commun Key Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities (15%) Operations and Development Responsibilities (65%) Program, Services, and Events Coordination Responsibilities (15%) Seasonal Programming Responsibilities (5%) Physical Requirements: Ability to drive a vehicle safely and travel frequently to visit Salvation Army locations on a consistent basis (roughly 60% of time in position entails travel). Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints. Ability to establish goals and objectives and monitor their effective implementation. Ability to apply discretion and independent judgment and exercise confidentiality. Ability to perform all duties with an understanding of the mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and conducts all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
