Sales –Regional Sales Manager (Off Premise)


Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager leads and develops a team of sales and delivery personnel to help the company sell more product and increase net profits.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Trains and oversees sales and delivery personnel to ensure they are meeting or exceeding company standards, positioning themselves as beverage industry experts for their accounts, helping customers sell more beer and troubleshooting issues.
  • Sells all products in accordance with company guidelines and T.A.B.C. (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission).
  • Ensures staff understands their sales goals and how to meet or exceed them.
  • Conducts ride-withs to audit sales team performance, and to provide individual coaching and recognition.
  • Assists sales team in ensuring customer satisfaction by coaching them how to identify needs, keep customer priorities in mind and implement solutions that sell more product.
  • Continuously increases product knowledge to be an expert resource for customers and sales staff.
  • Develops and maintains an effective rapport with all customers, staff and coworkers.
  • Communicates ideas and feedback clearly and effectively to increase sales and enhance employee performance.
  • Completes training, seminars and classes as assigned.
  • Completes and submits sales and incentive reports as required and ensures team members complete and submit their reports correctly and on time.
  • Generates other reports accurately and on time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. In this position, employees will drive several hours per shift. May have to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • A qualified Regional Sales Manager must have at least 5 years of sales experience
  • Must have a proven record of sales success and customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Outlook, and sales enablement software)
  • Good time management skills, an eye for detail, and experience working with a delivery team. Previous leadership experience is preferred.
