Staff Accountant

Urban Infraconstruction is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare work-in-progress (WIP) schedules.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
  
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and job cost accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage 300, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
