Summer Camp Teacher

Come join us for Summer Fun!  As a Summer Camp Teacher you will get to help create a great experience for children by:

• Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for our campers
• Assisting in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans and activities geared towards hands-on learning and fun
• Sharing the Latin culture with the children
• Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline
• Being able to work together with other teachers to plan and implement lessons and activities
• Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning
• Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications include:

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
•  Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development
• Energetic and passionate about working with children

Extra credit for:

• Previous teaching experience
• Basic English proficiency

Schedules

Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 2:30pm/1:45 pm - 6:00 pm
