The Opportunity

As a Tax Innovation - Software Engineering - Senior Manager, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on designing, coding, and testing applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and professional networks to deliver quality results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while developing and sustaining diverse and inclusive teams.

In this role, you will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities. You will validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback. Directing teams through complexity, you will demonstrate composure in ambiguous and challenging situations. Your commitment to excellence and ability to develop high-performing teams will contribute to the success of our firm.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Managing software engineering teams to design, code, and test applications that deliver exceptional user experiences
- Utilizing programming languages such as .Net, Java & Python to develop and maintain software applications
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities within software projects
- Directing teams through complex and ambiguous situations, demonstrating composure and strategic problem-solving
- Validating outcomes with clients and incorporating feedback to refine software solutions
- Overseeing the deployment of scalable software architectures and integration frameworks
- Promoting continuous integration and delivery practices to optimize software development processes
- Coaching and mentoring team members to foster a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive work environment
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align software solutions with business requirements and objectives

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience

- Innovating processes for operational excellence
- Leading large projects with a focus on results
- Demonstrating advanced skills in software engineering
- Utilizing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) methodologies
- Managing API integrations and microservices architecture
- Production experience with .Net, Java and Python programming languages

- Production experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services

- Production experience with ADLC and AI coding tools

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
