Associate Recruiter, Nursing & Allied
The Associate Recruiter, Nursing & Allied sources, interviews, and fills contract positions. This person strives to establish positive relationships with candidates by understanding their career aspirations and professional experience. Educating candidates on the current travel healthcare industry and helping them understand the outstanding benefits of traveling with AMN Healthcare is a significant part of this position. This role is responsible for building a strong pipeline of nursing professionals, fostering long-term relationships, and matching clinicians with opportunities that support their personal and professional goals. This helps ensure that AMN is matching the right talent with our clients' needs.
Job Responsibilities
Meet daily and weekly metrics to consistently grow the clinician network and retain clinicians currently working on travel assignments.
Execute a prospecting and marketing strategy using AMN's proprietary applicant tracking system to engage and attract nursing talent through phone, email, and other outreach methods.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within AMN's proprietary applicant tracking system, including contact information, qualifications, compliance documentation, and key selling points.
Consult with clinicians regarding their current and desired career situations, uncovering both stated and unstated needs to build trust and maintain engagement throughout the recruitment process.
Qualify clinicians' likelihood to accept and complete travel assignments based on licensure, availability, experience, skills, and overall fit.
Educate clinicians on market trends, assignment opportunities, compensation expectations, and career growth opportunities to support informed decision-making.
Discuss and negotiate compensation packages to create competitive and mutually beneficial employment opportunities.
Present qualified candidates to Account Managers to support client interviews and successful placement outcomes.

Education & Years of Experience
Associate's Degree plus 0-2 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 2-4 years of work experience
Additional Experience
2+ years of nursing recruitment experience
Sales or recruiting experience
Experience building relationships with candidates through phone-based outreach and consultative conversations preferred
Healthcare staffing, travel nursing, or clinician recruiting experience preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$20.25 - $25.25 HourlyFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
