Performance Health is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.  The Warehouse Supervisor oversees day-to-day warehouse operations and leads a team to ensure efficient, safe, and organized processes that meet customer needs. This role combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with supervisory duties, including training, performance management, and workflow optimization. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures compliance with safety standards, drives operational excellence, and fosters a collaborative team environment. 

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

  • Provide direction, assign responsibilities, and motivate team members to achieve operational goals
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of warehouse staff
  • Conduct training for new hires and current employees on safety, equipment operation, and standard procedures
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and participate in performance reviews; recommend promotions or disciplinary actions as needed
  • Communicate daily priorities to team 

Warehouse Operations

  • Lead daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Oversee receiving, inventory management, cycle counts, and order fulfillment
  • Maintain organized aisles and storage areas; proactively identify improvements in layout and workflow
  • Safely operate and supervise use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and box trucks (26 ft or less)
  • Ensure compliance with shipping requirements, including manifests, bills of lading, and cutoff times 

Customer Service & Delivery

  • Coordinate and, when necessary, perform deliveries and installations of products at customer facilities
  • Ensure all team members understand and follow safety and quality standards during deliveries 

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare and review operational reports (e.g., daily summaries, inventory discrepancies)
  • Alert management to irregularities in inventory or processes and recommend corrective actions 

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety rules and maintain a hazard-free environment
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of experience working in warehouse operations, including delivery and installation of products
  • 2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity within a distribution center
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; CDL desirable but not required
  • Forklift certification desired, not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be able to lift/move 50 -100 pounds 
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time which includes daily travel for deliveries and some overnight travel as needed
