Job DetailsJob Location: DALLAS, TX - Dallas, TX 75247Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayMeats By Linz is seeking to add talent to the Warehouse Team at our Dallas facility! Full-time in-house warehouseman work eight or more hours per day five days a week. As a full time warehouseman your duties will include but are not limited to: Able to stand up during most of the shift Able to use computers, handheld scanners, and other technology devices Receive, unload, and inspect shipments to ensure accuracy and quality of products. Organize and store products in the warehouse according to established procedures. Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment in a timely and accurate manner. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine stock counts. Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and safe at all times. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers. Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals. Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility. Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment. Picking and wrapping orders for shipment. Identifying workplace safety hazards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, distribution, food service, meat industry, or cold-storage experience preferred. Previous experience operating a pallet jack or forklift preferred. Ability to read and understand basic warehouse documents, labels, pick tickets, and instructions. Basic computer or handheld scanner experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to work in refrigerated, cold, wet, and varying temperature environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety. Willingness to follow all food safety, sanitation, PPE, and company policies. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and lift. Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds, with heavier items handled with appropriate assistance or equipment. Ability to push and pull carts, pallets, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Ability to safely perform repetitive lifting and material-handling activities. Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments for extended periods. Ability to safely handle and move meat products and other warehouse materials.
