This role is based in our global operations center in Tampa, Florida.

General Description:

Our team is expanding! We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The Recruiter reports to the Firm's Senior Manager, Human Resources Recruiting, and is responsible for recruiting business professionals across technology innovation, marketing, accounting & finance, information governance, human resources, talent development, practice support, and select attorney positions within the Firm. This role partners with Hiring Managers, Practice Group Leaders, Department Heads, and HR to determine talent needs, source qualified candidates, oversee the interview and selection process, and ensure a high-quality recruiting experience that aligns with the Firm’s standards, confidentiality, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has strong judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience recruiting in a fast-paced professional services environment. In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues both in person and virtually.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for business services and select attorney roles, from intake to pre-boarding.

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring leaders to define job requirements, competencies, timelines, and search strategy.

  • Develop sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn, networking, professional associations, referrals, and passive outreach.

  • Screen resumes for technical and cultural fit; conduct candidate phone screens.

  • Present qualified candidate slates to hiring leaders and coordinate feedback loops.

  • Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates, hiring teams, and Firm leadership.

  • Facilitate debriefs, manage selection decisions, and offer approval process.

  • Prepare and extend offer packages in partnership with HR Compensation.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on talent markets, recruiting timelines, candidate availability, and competitive intelligence.

  • Maintain timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, and HR Operations.

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Firm policies, EEO guidelines, confidentiality standards, and data protection protocols.

  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the Firm’s Applicant Tracking System (Workday experience preferred).

  • Support background checks, conflicts clearance, reference checks, and contingent offer steps in partnership with internal stakeholders.

  • Contribute to process improvement, recruitment analytics, and documentation initiatives.

  • Represent the Firm at career fairs, networking events, university outreach, and professional associations as needed.

  • Maintain relationships with external search partners when required; negotiate and manage fee agreements aligned with Firm standards.

  • Foster an environment of teamwork, engagement, and professional growth.

  • Stay up to date with current recruitment trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruiting and hiring process.

  • Special projects as requested.

Required Skills:

  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting for exempt/non-exempt roles.

  • Strong sourcing capabilities and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems (Workday experience a plus).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume requisition loads in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-through skills.

  • Understanding and familiarity with the legal industry and assigned markets.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to manage relationships with hiring managers, applicants, colleagues outside search firms, and university administrators.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, communication, or related field required.

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate environment. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

  • Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
