Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:  Stevens Transport is looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Technology team. You will serve as a point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via the phone, chat, email, or the helpdesk ticketing system. The ideal candidate will exhibit effective communication skills, be team-oriented and highly motivated. Strong computer skills and the ability to diagnose, report and resolve hardware and software issues is necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
  • Computer, printer, and phone setups
  • Software installs and configurations
  • Inventory control and asset management
  • Diagnosing system errors and network issues
  • Running reports as needed
  • Event/resolution logging
  • Providing accurate information related to supported products and services

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Related work experience in an IT environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Project management
  • Familiarity with VPN, endpoint protection and remote access
  • Working knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
