JOB SUMMARY: Â Stevens Transport is looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Technology team. You will serve as a point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via the phone, chat, email, or the helpdesk ticketing system. The ideal candidate will exhibit effective communication skills, be team-oriented and highly motivated. Strong computer skills and the ability to diagnose, report and resolve hardware and software issues is necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
- Point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
- Computer, printer, and phone setups
- Software installs and configurations
- Inventory control and asset management
- Diagnosing system errors and network issues
- Running reports as needed
- Event/resolution logging
- Providing accurate information related to supported products and services
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Related work experience in an IT environment
- Valid driver's license
- Project management
- Familiarity with VPN, endpoint protection and remote access
- Working knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
