Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Coordinator located in Dallas, Texas.Â
Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials among departments to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.Â
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMÂ

Responsibilities:Â
Coordinate with Buyers and Planners to ensure material needs of production are metÂ
Follow up with vendors and buyers regarding lead times for materials and obtain tracking information; coordinate delivery dates, as neededÂ
Follow up on any items showing short by working with purchasing and engineering to get a resolution in placeÂ
Update the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP systemÂ
Notify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect productionÂ
Perform other related duties as assignedÂ
Qualifications:Â
High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
Experience working in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting required Â
1+ years’ experience in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics or expeditingÂ
Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)Â
Experience with MRP/ERP Systems preferredÂ
Able to type 120 WPM preferredÂ
Bilingual preferredÂ
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
Excellent organizational and time management skillsÂ
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsÂ
Physical Requirements:Â
Periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computerÂ
Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floorÂ
