Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: 

We are looking for a creative Marketing & Media Specialist who is an awesome storyteller and has a background in managing a corporate presence in marketing, social media, and print campaigns. As our in-house content creator, you are responsible for taking conceptual direction and then crafting ideas and experiences that engage our audiences at every turn. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Spearheading a tailored social media strategy that tells the Stevens Transport story, maximizes brand exposure, and engages existing employees as well as our online community 

  • Scheduling marketing calendar posts across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube, etc.) 

  • Creating social media campaigns with calls-to-action that support recruiting efforts and help generate leads  

  • Writing original but relevant social copy for press releases and corporate newsletter 

  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity 

  • Overseeing entire portfolio of creative assets (master templates, print, web, email, advertising, PowerPoints, photography, videos, etc.) to support marketing and business objectives 

  • Responding quickly to proof modifications and new project requests 

  • Analyzing social media metrics and growth of outreach/campaigns on a weekly basis 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree and experience leading social media accounts on behalf of a business 

  • Strong, compelling writing is a requirement 

  • Well-versed on all relevant and emerging social media platforms 

  • Experience developing high impact social media marketing 

  • Experience with services such as MailChimp, Hootsuite, Creator Studio, etc. 

  • Ability to analyze project requirements and provide accurate turnaround timelines 

  • Must be able to fulfill a high volume of daily requests while also developing long-term projects 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • An energetic, flexible, and approachable work style; works well under pressure and is capable of remaining calm and focused despite rapidly changing priorities/competing deadlines 

  • An understanding of how to draw insights from social media measurements 

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier) 

  • Former Agency Experience a plus 

  • 5 years Marketing Management experience
