Repair Technician - Dallas, TX

 

DISHER is currently partnering with a global service supply chain leader specializing in mission-critical, post-sales solutions for hardware and technology companies. In this role, you will configure, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment returned by clients, combining hands-on repair and diagnostic work with computer-based configuration, installing or uninstalling software, connecting internal components, and verifying system functionality across a wide range of products.

What you will get to do:
  • Testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions according to customer requests
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation
  • Will be held accountable for following work instructions, abide by ESD standards, and conform to all safety rules/regulations
  • Meeting/exceeding production run rates while delivering a high level of quality each day
  • Perform a multitude of tasks based on customer needs
  • Other duties as assigned throughout warehouse


What will make you successful:
  • High school diploma or GED required, technical degree preferred
  • Hands on configuring of electronics in a production environment
  • Experience in the repair or troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and other electromechanical equipment
  • Ability to understand and utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot defective electronics
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and via electronic messaging with Management and co-workers
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts Mon-Fri (40hrs) and be flexible if OT is needed
