Job DetailsJob Location: Dallas - Dallas, TX 75247Position Type: Part TimeAs an Accounting Assistant, your main responsibility will be to support the financial operations of our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing support to the accounting team. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in performing bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable tasks, and account reconciliations. By effectively utilizing your knowledge of Quickbooks and general accounting principles, you will contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: •    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. •    Proven experience in bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and general accounting. •    Proficiency in using Quickbooks and other accounting software. •    Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles. •    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry. Preferred Qualifications: •    Knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance. •    Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights. •    Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Schedule: M-TH 1p to 6p; F 12p to 5p First 90 days in office, remote discussed after; bilingual speaking plus Responsibilities: •    Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. •    Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors. •    Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. •    Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. •    Support the payroll tax process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Skills: In this role, your proficiency in bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, Quickbooks, general accounting, and account reconciliation will be crucial. You will use these skills on a daily basis to ensure accurate financial records, identify and resolve discrepancies, and support the overall financial operations of our organization. Additionally, your knowledge of cost accounting and payroll tax will contribute to the financial health and compliance of our organization. Your attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. Finally, your strong analytical and communication skills will enable you to provide valuable insights and collaborate effectively with the accounting team.
