Essential Job Functions:      Greets and escorts guests to their assigned seats as requested. Accommodates and/or communicates reasonable guest requests, needs, or complaints to dining room manager or Maitre'D. Assists and supports other staff members as needed (bussers, waitstaff, etc.). Assists Maitre'D or dining room manager in development of seating charts, helps to determine reservation lists and guest counts. Assists Maitre’D or dining room manager with assigning seats to guests as needed. Assists Maitre'D or dining room manager with room set up and organization. Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required. May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation: No prior education needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Possess good organization skills. Basic math. Ability to communicate and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to interact positively with coworkers and management. Ability to prioritize time so that work is accomplished on a dependable basis; is reliable and committed to meeting schedules and deadlines. Ability to demonstrate initiative, including being proactive and resourceful, working independently with minimum supervision. Ability to win confidence and gain respect through consistent demonstrations of personal courtesy, tact and timely responsiveness. Training: No prior experience or training required.  Licenses/Certifications/Other:  Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions Serve-safe certified (Food Handlers) Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission License (TABC) Physical Requirements:  The physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
