Aroa Biosurgery Limited is a soft-tissue regeneration company that develops, manufactures, and distributes surgical products to improve healing in complex soft tissue reconstruction procedures. Founded in New Zealand in 2008, the company is built on proprietary AROA ECM™ Technology, a novel extracellular matrix biomaterial derived from ovine forestomach. Aroa’s mission is to “unlock regenerative healing for everybody” by delivering a next generation platform that significantly improve outcomes for patients, surgeons, and clinicians.

This is a 100% remote, part-time opportunity (~20 hours/week) for a Talent Acquisition specialist who knows the US medical device and surgical sales landscape inside out.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an expert who doesn't rely on job postings alone, but knows how to hunt, engage, and convert top performing medical sales reps across all  US time zones. As our first dedicated US Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll work autonomously as part of our global People & Culture team to build high converting talent pools, coach hiring managers, and drive direct hiring efforts. With a focus on sales, but with a number of other roles to keep things interesting, this is a chance to shape the future of recruitment for our US business, while collaborating as part of a global team. While this role will primarily focus on recruiting Territory Sales Managers, you'll also support recruitment across a range of other functions, offering plenty of variety while helping shape the future of recruitment for our U.S. business as part of a global team.

What You’ll Do

  • Targeted Passive Sourcing: Proactively map and engage top tier commercial sales talent across the US.
  • End-to-End Campaign Management: Manage screening, interview coordination and offer negotiations alongside P&C Business Partners.
  • Hiring Manager Upskilling: Coach US hiring leaders on structured selection, competency evaluation, and mitigating hiring bias
  • Process & Analytics: Track pipeline health and manage recruitment tech tools (BambooHR, Xref).

What You’ll bring

  • Previous recruitment experience with a strong, proven background in Medical Device, Surgical Sales, or Life Sciences hiring.
  • Deep familiarity with US commercial sales compensation structures, talent dynamics, and sales candidate motivations.
  • Exceptional passive sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and industry networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment campaigns autonomously across multiple time zones.
  • Adaptable, proactive mindset with a strong sense of humor and collaborative spirit.

Why Choose This Role?

  • True Flexibility: High-impact fractional leadership (~20 hours/week) with complete remote autonomy.
  • Quality Over Quantity: Focus on strategic, targeted hires rather than high-volume transaction processing.
  • Meaningful Product: Represent medical technology that restores bodies and changes patient outcomes globally.
  • Your birthday off, along with 10 paid company holidays.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching
  • A collaborative and inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives
