Job Specific Working Conditions:
North Texas Capernaum is seeking a passionate and culturally competent leader to lead Vida Joven Capernaum in Dallas—Young Life for Spanish-speaking and bilingual families of kids with disabilities. This could potentially be a full time role.
This role will focus on supporting the 50+ families we’re already engaged with who primarily speak Spanish, while expanding outreach to new kids and families across DISD. Key responsibilities include:
Leading cabin time and discipleship spaces in Spanish at club/camp
Helping make clubs and campaigners more bilingual
Recruiting and developing Spanish-speaking volunteer leaders
Building partnerships with Spanish-speaking churches and community groups
Conducting contact work with new students and families in the Capernaum context
The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English) or Spanish speaking, passionate about kids with disabilities, and eager to help build a bridge between cultures and communities in our city.

Resource Development — “Fueling the ministry” includes events, major donor care, public relations (branding) and TDS team.
Direct Ministry — “Proclaiming and modeling” includes contact work, club, Campaigners and camp.
Ministry Support — “Taking care of business” includes accounting, administration, communication (internal), data management and strategic plan.
