Job Description

A process engineer optimizes manufacturing and industrial systems to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality while reducing costs and environmental impact. They analyze production data, troubleshoot equipment, and design processes for, or in sectors like chemical, oil and gas, or manufacturing. Key skills include using CAD or simulation software, Six Sigma, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process Optimization: Designing, testing, and modifying manufacturing processes to achieve maximum output with minimum defects.
  • Operational Support: Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and monitoring day-to-day operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Technical Documentation: Creating and maintaining,, safety, and quality control procedures.
  • Project Coordination: Leading plant production trials and implementing new technologies.
  • Collaboration: Working with maintenance, quality, and production teams to manage workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for managing high-pressure, technical environments.
  • Experience: Often requires experience in manufacturing or specific industries like HVAC, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals.

Compensation Range

$75,000.00 - $150,000.00

The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
