Texas Instruments is looking for a detailed‑and‑results‑oriented engineer to join our global Information‑Technology organization as the Supply Chain Solutions Architect. In this role you will influence and transform TI’s supply chain business process and software stack.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in systems engineering combined with business acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills. They should be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and have experience designing closed-loop systems that leverage machine learning to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define & champion technology strategy through a long‑term roadmap that aligns IT systems with TI’s business goals, scalability, security, and competitive advantage.
  • Conduct market & competitor analysis by evaluating vendor solutions, emerging platforms, and industry trends.
  • Engage & influence stakeholders by translating technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
  • Lead architecture review boards, workshops, and cross‑functional steering committees.
  • Drive innovation & continuous improvement while measuring performance and outcomes
  • Ensures design and implementation fulfill functional and non-functional needs such as maintainability, stability, supportability 
  • End to end systems and enterprise-level architecture 
    • Apply frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) to build fault‑tolerant, self‑healing systems.
    • Ensure designs meet security, compliance, and reliability standards.
    • Build scalable data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions workloads.
    • Apply modern software engineering concepts 
    • Provides architecture guidance on solution design and integration for end to end systems. 
    • Ensure physical and logical designs fit within enterprise architecture 
    • Identify necessary interaction with other applications/services and define message exchange patterns, data contracts, and service level agreements
    • Enforces adoption and adherence to solid modern development practices including CICD
