Job Description

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry.  We are seeking a qualified candidate for our Tax Administrator role designated for our OES Tax Team. This role supports tax compliance, record maintenance, audit preparation, and administrative functions to ensure smooth operations within the tax department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in tax administration in public and/or private sectors.  Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Email/Mail Group Management with the capacity to open, file, copy, scan, and assign to tax team members.
  • Internal record maintenance.
  • Internal and external audit support.
  • Ability to utilize internal tracking software to ensure that each tax deadline is met.
  • Perform special projects and other ad-hoc duties as needed.
  • Manage vendor/customer certificate deficiencies.
  • Coordinate meetings/trainings.
  • Sales tax preparation for multiple states.
  • Assist in managing the business licensing function.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax-related platforms.
  • Excellent listening skills and strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses unwavering work ethic and willingness to cross-train.

Education and Experience

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-5 years of tax/accounting experience (indirect tax) preferred. 
  • Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) preferred. 
  • Experience with Coupa (P2P software) preferred. 
  • Knowledge of sales tax language is preferred. 
  • Retailer or construction industry-related experience a plus.  
  • Experience in managing multiple email groups preferred.
