The Director of Evernorth Wholesale is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and executing the wholesale strategy while driving operational excellence through disciplined delivery and oversight. This position combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, translating enterprise priorities into actionable initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation. The Director partners with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to accelerate wholesale performance and strengthen Evernorth’s market position.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and refine Evernorth Wholesale’s long-term strategy to support enterprise growth and competitive advantage.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the implementation of wholesale initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Establish governance frameworks and accountability mechanisms to ensure successful outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Technology, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution of wholesale programs.
  • Serve as a key liaison to senior leadership, providing updates and recommendations on strategic initiatives.

Performance & Financial Management

  • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess program impact and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency across wholesale processes.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team focused on strategy execution and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles within wholesale, distribution, or healthcare operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with exceptional project and program management skills.
  • Expertise in operational execution, governance, and change management.
  • Advanced financial acumen for budgeting and ROI analysis.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 165,000 - 275,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
