Job DetailsJob Location: Controlled Products - Dalton, GA 30721Salary Range: $17.00Job Summary: As a Lift Truck Operator (LTO) in the manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the facility. Your primary responsibility will be to operate lift trucks safely and effectively, contributing to the overall productivity of the manufacturing process. You will be tasked with loading and unloading materials, transporting goods to designated areas, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of lift trucks to ensure they are in safe working condition. Ultimately, your efforts will help streamline operations and support the timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.    Duties/Responsibilities:  Operate lift trucks to move materials and products within the manufacturing facility.  Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage areas.  Transport goods to designated locations while adhering to safety protocols.  Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on lift trucks.  Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management.    Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.  QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:   Excellent communication skills  Organizational skills and attention to detail  Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines      Education and Experience:  High school diploma or equivalent  Proven experience operating lift trucks in a manufacturing environment    Physical Requirements:   Prolonged periods of standing up  Ability to lift 15 pounds  Benefits:  Will be eligible for health insurance on the first day of the first full month following 30 days employed with The Recreational Group  401k match (30 day waiting period)
