Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Programming Technician to support CNC programming and fabrication operations within our manufacturing team. This hybrid role combines hands-on machine operation with CNC programming, process optimization, and troubleshooting across multiple fabrication cells.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC programming, sheet metal fabrication, CAD/CAM software, and automated manufacturing systems and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, test, and troubleshoot CNC programs
  • Operate fabrication machinery and support production output
  • Optimize existing programs for efficiency and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and scheduling teams
  • Document programming updates and operating procedures
  • Assist with training on fabrication equipment and software
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication operations

Qualifications

  • Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
  • Experience with CNC programming and metal fabrication processes
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong blueprint reading, measurement, and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with Salvagnini, Trumpf, or Amada equipment preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
