Job DetailsJob Location: Derecktor of Dania - Dania Beach, FL 33004Position Type: Full TimeResponsibilities and Duties: These shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Create project schedules and ensure resource availability and allocation Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to be shared with clients in addition to other stakeholders Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Responsible for collaboration and communication with various teams as needed Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors Perform risk assessment to minimize and manage project risks Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each project Delegate project tasks based on skill sets and experience levels Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis Use and continually develop leadership skills Review billing and invoices for accuracy Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Perform other related duties as assigned QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Deep understanding of the maritime industry and technical experience on vessels Excellent client-facing and internal communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Process Improvement Planning and scheduling Performance Management Subcontractor/Vendor Management In-depth understanding of construction procedures and materials management Familiarity with quality assurance processes Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards Familiarity with construction/project management software Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Financial Management experience including basic accounting Developing and Tracking Budgets Supervision and Staffing Negotiate and manage statement of work and contracts with external vendors  Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years relevant trade experience within the marine industry OR High School diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years relevant trade experience within the marine industry. Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification a plus Small Vessel New Construction experience a plusÂ
