The Maintenance personnel plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring that all production equipment and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functioning efficiently. This position focuses on preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and continuous improvement of equipment reliability across the production floor.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records including logs, repairs, and parts usage.
  • Respond to equipment failures and production calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify and implement equipment and process improvements.
  • Assist in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct safety inspections and proactively identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in training initiatives and help train operators on basic maintenance procedures as needed.
  • Perform local deliveries and pickups using company vehicles as needed.
  • Construct custom shipping crates and packaging solutions when required.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and support factory relocations and facility improvements.

 

What We Are Looking For

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and jigs to support production efficiency and quality.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Safely lift and transport heavy materials and equipment weighing up to 50–70 lbs.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance tracking or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma practices.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-precision environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial safety practices.
