Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner Â
Administer expert massage and body treatments for various purposes and needs and in the specific time frame given. Â
Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practice. Â
Properly care for equipment and products used Â
Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings Â
Compare and contrast the different services on the menu Â
Recommend and up-sell services at the spa facility on property Â
Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy Â
Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately Â
Understand the importance of and committed to continuing education Â
Works unsupervised for extended periodsÂ
Uphold all protocols for set-up and cleanliness of treatment rooms. Â
Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy appearance and a positive attitude Â
Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well-organized work area. Including extensive in-between client cleaning procedures. Â
Maintains well maintained spa appearance, cleanliness and ability to work entire shift in a mask as directed. Â
Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress Â
Perform other tasks assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager. Â
Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve problems in fast paced environment Â
Qualifications
Two years’ massage therapy experience at a resort or high-level country club Â
Proper training and certificates for service provided.  (Must be able to produce certifications upon hire.) Â
Highschool diploma or equivalent. Â
Experience in administering treatments to male and female guests in a professional manner. Â
Understand and follow Blood Born Pathogen procedures Â
Excellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language Â
Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers, online booking platforms, printer, and two-way radio. Â
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Â

Wage: Commission based
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS    Â
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekends, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility. Â
Must be able to stand up to 9 hours per day Length of time of these tasks may vary Â
Able to lift 15lbs occasionally. Â
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity. Â
Fast paced environment  Â
Multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.   Â
Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.  Â
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.   Â
