Expected pay for this position is $34.25 - $42.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Ambulatory Charge Nurse champions nursing care standards and supports the needs of the practice while aligning policy and competency. They assist in overseeing and directing the work of the clinical care team, precept new care team members, and provide direct patient care. They lead by example and demonstrate accountability for ensuring safe, high quality patient care, enhancing the patient and family experience, and providing effective leadership that contributes to OSF Mission, Vision and Values. They determine work priorities and assist with resolving operational and patient care needs.

*Position will work and provide oversight for both OB clinic and Behavioral Health clinic.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

License/Certifications: Current State License as a Registered Nurse. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment

Experience: 2 years of experience in the office/clinic or similar office/clinic

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

License/Certification: Certification in area of specialty ACLS PALS

Experience: Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems Excellent customer service skills as demonstrated in past work experience Strong verbal and written communication skills
