The Inpatient Coordinator participates in direct clinical care, patient transitions, and core administrative responsibilities. operations for a 24/7 inpatient psychiatric unit. This multifaceted role combines frontline comprehensive psychiatric clinical duties, including intake assessments, leading group therapy sessions with comprehensive discharge planning and analyzing MEDITECH census data. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric intake assessments, mental status examinations, and clinical screenings to determine immediate patient care needs Additionally, the coordinator oversees essential unit logistics, including staff scheduling, payroll processing, and productivity reporting. Utilizing the EMR platform, this position ensures seamless data tracking, compliant clinical documentation, and optimal resource utilization. Working collaboratively with teams across the organization, the Patient Coordinator also provides hands-on training and support as needed while consistently demonstrating the F.I.R.S.T. values of Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust.

Qualifications

Prefer two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in an inpatient setting behavioral health or healthcare setting with direct experience conducting clinical assessments, running therapeutic groups, and managing discharge workflows preferred
