Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Form Carpenters for projects located in or around Danville, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$27/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Assist with digging and grading footings using grade control methods
Tie and install rebar according to project specifications
Cut lumber and materials used for concrete forming
Use hammers to drive stakes and secure concrete forms
Use drills and hand tools to assemble and install forms
Form tilt-wall panels on slab-on-grade projects
Assist with pouring concrete into footings
Use rakes and shovels to fine-tune grade and move concrete as needed
Maintain a safe and productive work environment on site

Requirements:

Must have previous concrete form carpentry experience
Must have experience with footing work, forming, and rebar installation
Must be able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Must have all standard PPE
Must have a tool belt and basic hand tools
Must be able to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment
